Who is Hysteria for?
Everyone who is 100% human. We are building Hysteria for our multigenerational, ethnically and racially diverse community of many statuses, nationalities, and pronouns. Welcome to the East Bay!
Sports expertise?
Not necessary. No pre-reqs at this party. Interest is everything. We learn together!
Food?
Yes. Our menu will feature savory pub grub with lots of dips and fresh salads.
Drinks?
All of them. Quality cocktails served down. Spirits produced by women. CA made beer and wine. Cider. N/A beverages. Tea. Coffee.
Kids?
Yes. Bring them. The ones that won’t hurt themselves if Mom does a victory lap!
Dogs?
We hope to acquire a space with a patio. We’re already inspired to design Hysteria merch for your pooch!
When?
2026 is the target year, but this largely depends on our following and funding. Props to those sharing Hysteria with all their folks!
Location?
We’re working on funding first. Then we’ll search Oakland far and wide for the right 2nd gen. spot. Holla, if you got a rich auntie!
Merch?
Not yet, but we are having a blast designing it! The only improvement would be a collaboration with Oaklandish - drop us a message if you have a connect!

How will Hysteria compete with other women’s sports bars?
Why competition? We are lucky to learn from and support the existing women's sports bars and the inspiring badasses behind them! Of course, Hysteria will have an East Bay flare because we all build these hubs for our surrounding communities.
